Jessica’s Story

Jessica is a proud mom of three beautiful children. All miracle babies! Her and her husband’s journey of infertility and loss is one of struggle — crowned by a deep love of LIFE and HOPE.

“When I first got married at the tender age of 19, we just assumed that we would start our family young. My husband comes from 7 siblings, and it was our hope to also have a big family. Children were all I ever wanted. It didn’t take long to realize that our marriage dream wasn’t panning out as we hoped.

My first miscarriage came as a huge shock. I didn’t realize I was pregnant, as my cycles were very long. I got really bad cramps one evening hosting a dinner party… I excused myself and my stomach sank. Something was very wrong.

I remember every detail, like it was yesterday.

Losing a child is traumatic. I lost the baby on the bathroom floor, in complete shock, sobbing as quietly as I could. David eventually came to check on me and I remember his knees buckling to the floor at the horror he walked in on.

Women need support when they suffer a loss, reach out to them, to love them, and to help them recover and move on.

Everyone’s infertility looks different, every story is different. Infertility is a disease, and like any disease, we don’t need advice on how to get better, but we do need friends and support.

Walk with a friend as they journey through infertility, just to be there and to love and support her. She will be forever grateful.”

On the advice of a pro-life friend, this family found help with Natural Procreative Technology — a women’s health science that monitors and maintains a woman’s reproductive and gynecological health.

She was treated for PolyCystic Ovarian Disease and against all odds, conceived her son. Jessica sadly went on to lose five more babies, and yet, never gave up hope that in time, she would give her son a little sister or brother. Miraculously she did with NaPro medical help, and gave birth to two beautiful daughters.

She closes her story with these words:

“Please, always be open to life… don’t close the door on your hurting, because you just truly never know when a miracle will take place.”
