Lifetime Members Honored at AGM 2020

Lifetime Members Honored

Saturday, October 17, 2020 — PEI Right to Life Association held their Annual General Meeting at Faithworks Community Center in North Wiltshire honoring long-serving members and introducing a new board of directors.

Despite Covid-19 restrictions, the event was a great success with four board members honored who have served the organization above and beyond the call of duty. Outgoing board member and treasurer, John Broderick and Aukje Annema were awarded LIFEtime Service Awards for their multi-years of service and dedication promoting pro-life values on PEI for over 25 years. Outgoing president and vice-president, Barbara MacFarlane and Elisabeth Visser were honored with the Heart&Soul Award for their dedication serving both the board of directors and also in a variety of other areas for the association.

The membership also voted to rename the association to PEI Life to better reflect the values and vision the organization has to serve the people of the Island in the future.
